I am an environmental studies scholar and interdisciplinary social scientist. My research focus is primarily public understanding and communication of climate change and other ideologically-entangled sciences. My first book, tentatively titled Climate Converts: The people who changed their minds on the greatest threat of our time, is coming soon from Columbia University Press. I am an Associate Professor of Environmental Studies at Eckerd College where I teach courses on science, environmental, and climate change communication.
